If you're noticing your pool water level dropping rapidly, even when the pump is off, you might have a leak!. Don't ignore it......

Updated: Mar 15

How to spot a leak:

Visible water around the pool edges:

Check for wet spots on the deck or surrounding soil.

Rapid water level drop: Regularly monitor your pool's water level and note any sudden decline.

Higher water bills:

An unexplained spike in your water usage could indicate a leak.

Cracks in the pool shell or tile line:

Look for visible cracks around the pool's perimeter.

What to do next:

Perform a "bucket test":

Fill a bucket with pool water and place it on a step; if the water level in the bucket drops significantly less than the pool's water level, you likely have a leak.
